Noriyoshi Tsumura - convenience store manager (ep.1).Kenji Ine - Shintona Kanagawa JV Construction Employee (ep.1-10).Shunji Kanai - Shintona Kanagawa JV Construction Employee (ep.1-10).

Through his work Seiji's outlook on life starts to change and he starts to rebuild his life. They have disagreements at first but become more understanding of each other. Seiji then meets on site-supervisor Manamai Chiba ( Karina) whose personality is the polar opposite of Seiji's. He believes his job is just temporary and acts distant with his co-workers. When his mother falls ill due to depression, Seiji is then forced to take a part time job at a construction company. He also fights with his father over his ways and then becomes a "hikkimori" - a recluse who never leaves his room. He has no dreams, no will and zero money. Seiji Take ( Kazunari Ninomiya) is a young man who quits his job after working for only 3 months.

I kind of wanted to laugh too because I bought my mom hand-cream earlier today.

Cough.ītw, the whole hand-cream thing makes me want to cry or something. I would have been happy if he just broke down in front of Karina. It's seriously awkward now that the rest of the crew knows his personal life. But still, in my opinion, he did a good job. Seiji's drunk confession also had me crying right from the beginning. Yes, I'm very emotional. I thought she had some weird obsession with Seiji or something. But I didn't think it was because of the houses. Honestly, I did suspect her to have to do with something. Nishimoto-san, the crazy neighbor, creeped me out from day one. I mean, yeah, the weird moments where she would rock back and forth with a haunted look in her eyes set something off but. I didn't expect the mother to be depressed. I just finished watching the fourth episode, too, and I'm on my way to the rest. But since it was Nino, I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did. And Karina, too, I guess (with her work in Daisuki!!). Well, if I may be so bold, I'll be squealing about this drama and admittedly, the reason why I'm watching this is because Nino is in it.

One of the people he meets at the construction site is Manami Chiba (Karina), who graduated from a top-class university and joined a well-known general contracting firm. Because of that, he soon decides to work towards rebuilding his life: "Even though I'm just a freeter, I'm going to buy a house for the sake of my family." However, after his mother falls ill with depression, he ends up having to take on a part-time job at a construction site. With no dreams, no savings, and a poor relationship with his family, he becomes a hikikomori (shut-in) in his own room.
